Triumphant Trainees earn BPEC Certificate in Renewable Energy

Coupled with the English victory in South Africa, there is a double cause for celebration in Chale this evening.

After attending a 2-day course given by the Isle of Wight College, our 8 trainees, who are keen to look for jobs in the renewable energy industry, sat a final test this afternoon and were awarded the BPEC Certificate in Renewable Energy. BPEC is the association that ensures training standards in the Building Engineering Service sector are upheld.

The next modules of the course include: CSCS – Construction Skills Certification Scheme, Health & Safety and First Aid training.
