A busy week in Chale!

Work has started in earnest on Spanners Close and the installation programme is expected to last about 16 weeks – the planning is a complex job as old inefficient night storage heaters have to be removed and electricians have to come in to prepare before the new air source heat pumps can be installed. In this photo, one of the heat pumps installed outside the St Edmunds block of flats – with Vince Wedlock-Ward and Pat Mitchell of South Wight Housing Association and Hilly of Eaga Renewables standing proudly by!
